With regards to the Easter celebrations the President of Georgia has pardoned 25 convicts.

16 convicts were fully released from further serving the sentence in the penitentiary, including 4 women convicts, whereas 7 convicts had their remaining sentences reduced, including 1 woman convict.

The act of amnesty also affected 2 probationers, who were fully released from the further serving of conditional imprisonment.
