President Zourabichvili Condemns Insults in Parliament, Calls for Swift and Decisive Action

Today, I heard words that insulted the entire Parliament of Georgia. I want to express my full solidarity with the women who came out and protested today. I find this completely unacceptable—there are no words to describe how shameful it is for Georgians, for Georgia, and for the Parliament of Georgia.

I'm unsure what laws should be enacted regarding obscenity when, if this doesn't qualify as obscenity, I don't know what does. I urge the Chairman of the Parliament to take the strictest measures against those individuals who allowed themselves to act in such a manner today.

Failure to address this promptly risks tarnishing his own standing within the Parliament of Georgia. It is crucial to act swiftly and decisively in response to such behavior.
