During the meeting at the Munich International Security Conference, President Zourabichvili discussed Georgia's European integration process with Věra Jourová, Vice President of the European Commission.
The President expressed gratitude to the Vice President for European Commission’s clear and robust statements regarding the recommendations and for granting Georgia candidate country status.
According to the President, obtaining European Union status is crucial, especially at a time when Russian propaganda actively seeks to expand its influence and establish a foothold in Georgia. The actions taken by the European Commission have bolstered European aspirations within the Georgian population.
