The illegal, criminal, and outrageous decision by Russia—opening another military and its first naval base in Ochamchire, on the territory of sovereign Georgia. This provocation not only threatens Georgia but the entire region.

This poses a significant threat to the security of the Black Sea, the future Anaklia port, and the European route of Georgia. With this move, Russia is bolstering its influence in the Black Sea region and attempting to assert dominance in the area.
