The President met with Oleksandr Balanutsa, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for European Integration; Lord Vernon Coaker, Minister of State in the Ministry of Defense and Representative Minister of the House of Lords; Michael R. Carpenter, Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director of European Affairs at the U.S. National Security Council; and Věra Jourová, Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency.

During the meetings, they discussed the pre-election environment in Georgia, the country's European integration process, and the aspirations of the Georgian people for a European future.
