The official welcoming ceremony for the President of Georgia was held today at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius.
During the ceremony, the anthems of both Georgia and Lithuania were performed, and the presidents paid tribute to the state flags of both countries.
Salome Zourabichvili introduced the members of the delegation accompanying her to Gitana Nausėda.
The official delegation from Georgia includes deputies of the Parliament: Aleksandre Elisashvili and Teona Akubardia, as well as Natia Sulava, Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia, and Ketevan Tatoshvili, Advisor to the President on Relations with International Organizations and Socio-Economic Issues.
Following the official welcoming ceremony, the President of Georgia wrote a note in the book of honored guests, expressing, "As the President of Georgia, it is a great honor for me to visit Lithuania once again. This official visit reaffirms the profound and friendly relations that unite our two great nations. I extend my sincere gratitude to Lithuania on behalf of the Georgian people for its steadfast support to Georgia. I hope that our robust partnership will endure for many more years."
