President Salome Zourabichvili laid a wreath to pay respect to the memory of the Unknwon Soldier at the Altar of the Fatherland in Rome as part of her state visit to the Italian Republic. The President was accompanied by Lorenzo Guerini, Minister of Defense of Italy, and Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chief of the Defense Staff of Italy.

The ceremony included a guard of honor, a military march and the national anthems of Georgia and Italy.
